"We've lent some of it. We've not lent some of it. We've not given any accounting of, 'Here's how we're doing it,'" said Thomas Kelly, a spokesman for JPMorgan Chase, which received $25 billion in emergency bailout money. "We have not disclosed that to the public. We're declining to."

YOU HAVE TO BE KIDDING!!!!!

First of all, the tax payers are owners in the banking industry now thanks to Congress. Where is Congress right now in demanding an exact accounting of funds being spent?

Am I the only one, or does someone else out there feel like they have just been taken to the cleaners?

Where is our bailout/handout with no strings attached? I would bet that most of us would have settled for a mere $50,000 (which would and could make a huge difference in our lives.)

How fun can it be? I travel into a lot of small towns throughout the west. Often, these towns are those that get the comment of "It is a great place to be from." Meaning that there isn't anything to do there and no opportunities.

However, I am the eternal optimist and think that most towns have some opportinities. Though, they may be limited. Some of the ideas that are out there may have been instilled generations ago and take time to change the direction.

There are people that take this adventure to heart and give it the best try they know how. I applaud them in their efforts and desire to make a new (or better) life for themselves.
